Laurent Demeure has worked in luxury real estate in Paris for 30 years. He started his career in real estate in 1992, taking over the family business, a real estate company, founded by his grandfather in the 1920s. He joined Coldwell Banker on becoming its first international company in order to grow his business in 2010. Laurent Demeure concentrated on the development of the brand Coldwell Banker in France, and strategically opened branches in different regions. In addition, with his wife Vanda, he has made his office in Paris Coldwell Banker’s first international office. He has personally closed more than 5 000 real estate transactions and is an expert in luxury real estate in France.
A renowned leader at a national level in the real estate sector, Laurent Demeure regularly represents the Coldwell Banker brand in interviews with the leading media in Europe and in the United States. In 2014 he was the first person outside of the US to win the prestigious Coldwell Banker Barton prize in recognition of his ability to leverage his commercial expertise to turn economic challenges into growth opportunities, making the Coldwell Banker brand one of the fastest growing real estate organizations in France. He holds masters degrees from Sciences Po and Paris Dauphine, and an MBA from the University of Oxford, and is the author of the book “The secrets of selling property to the ultra rich”.
